Two important referenda on the new zoning ordinance and on an amendment to the existing ordinance were won by the citizens of Elmwood Township on July 29 2003. Voting in unprecedented numbers, Elmwood voters rejected the measure by a 3-1 margin. The issues are still relevant today. Read about these important votes.
